Operating any kBox or kPulley device without a functional Pulley Block is impossible. It is crucial to absorb all the energy during the eccentric phase of any movement and ensure a complete stop before the Pulley Block comes in contact with the device, as this can lead to damage to both the Pulley Block and the main device.
To replace the Pulley Block, you will need to disconnect the Drive Belt from your device. A 3-mm hex key, included with every new Exxentric Flywheel Training System, can assist you in this process.
For the kPulley, the small Pulley Block is more suitable due to the predominantly horizontal nature of most exercises. The gravitational force exerted by a heavier Pulley Block may have unintended consequences. On the other hand, the large Pulley Block is generally used with the kBox4, which often encounters higher forces and, therefore, requires a more robust design.
